Vision

Vision for Sara’s House of Hope

Sara’s House of Hope was birthed from the ashes of unimaginable grief. God moved our hearts to see that Sara’s life, and especially her death, would not be in vain. Our daughter suffered from a disease that she struggled to overcome, but in the end, its grip was unrelenting. Despite her struggles, she constantly put others first. Her heart was so much bigger than her tender years revealed. Sara’s House of Hope carries forth her gift of reaching out and helping others.

Our Vision is straightforward:

  • be a life changing resource for those battling Substance Use Disorder by providing education about addiction
  • advocacy for those who need a voice but do not have one
  • help provide pathways to treatment, however that may look.
  • offer support groups twice a month
    • a group for those families who have a loved one with an active substance use disorder
    • a group for those who have lost a loved one to substance use disorder.

We have opened a Family Recovery Center where we encompass all things related to family recovery. Addiction is a family disease.  We provide:

  • education, support, comfort, and healing
    • to people who have a substance-related loss
    •  as well as the families and friends who have been impacted by a loved one’s substance use.
  • A place where family and friends can recover.
  • A place where family and friends can be open and honest with no judgement.
  • A place where healing begins.
  • A place to feel no shame.
  • A place where only love resides.

It takes a village to get through the difficult times and we want to be that for you.
