Hope Still Shines

Join us for Hope Still Shines, an evening where remembrance meets celebration.  As the sun sets, we will gather and walk together, glowing in the darkness in honor of the ones we love.   Through Music, shared stories, laughter and community, we will celebrate their lives - because they were more than their struggles. 

 

They were Joy. They were Love. They were Light. 

 

Hosted by Sara's House of Hope, this night is about Unity, Healing and Hope. We will walk to break the Stigma. We will walk to remember. We will walk because even in the darkest places.....

Hope Still Shines

This will take place at Vibrant Church/Adventure Park (1775 Lambs Gap Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050) on Saturday, September 12th, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

 

Please arrive at 6:30 p.m. to check-in and receive your goodies for the Remembrance Walk

During this walk, we will be raising money for Sara’s House of Hope. The money raised from this event will go toward our mission to strengthen our community with education, support, and provide a nurturing atmosphere for those who are experiencing grief and loss. Come see our Family Recovery Center, which encompasses all things Family recovery, raising awareness and providing education on the epidemic our community is facing.

 

We will be lining the walking route with Luminaries and will be offering to have a sign made for your loved ones, which will be posted along the route. Their signs will be illuminated so you can stop and remember them and when the walk is over you are welcome to take the sign with you. There will be a cost of $50 to cover the sign, you can order that with through link below.

 

 Registration is only $20 per person, teams of 3 or more(signing up at the same time) are $15 Per person and Children under 16 are free.

 

We would love for you to partner with us in our mission to help change the lives of this community. There are a variety of ways that you or your business can help us with our mission:

 

• Make a monetary donation to help raise awareness of substance use disorders and recovery for the whole family.

• Become a Sponsor to help offset the cost of the event and get recognized for your Support.

• Register yourself and other members of your organization to participate in the Hope Still Shines Remembrance Walk

• Purchase an “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” sign for your loved one. These signs will be displayed along the walking course and will be yours to take home after the race.
